Jennifer L. Taylor Executive Director

In her position as Executive Director, Jennifer helps expand the Foundation’s community outreach efforts; coordinates and develops programs; and helps build awareness of the Foundation’s mission to provide education, support and accountability to those moving forward with personal wellness plans.

Taylor brings to Wellness Foundation a wealth of health-related counseling and non-profit experience. Prior to joining the Foundation she served as a social worker at Brevillier Village in Erie, PA, where she provided education and support to residents and their families in a skilled elder care facility. She has also served as a social worker, at the Riverwoods Nursing Care Facility in Lewisburg, PA, and as Executive Director of the Alzheimer’s Association of Northwestern PA. Taylor was also a Health and Wellness Coach for ten years, for Hennergy, Inc., Marilu.com, (a personal wellness organization founded by actress Marilu Henner), where she taught online health and wellness classes and developed and presented healthy lifestyle seminars.

Taylor graduated in 1994, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in social work from Gannon University in Erie, PA. She graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in June 2007. She is a certified health counselor with a degree from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC and a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. She is a member of the American Association of University Women and the National Association of Social Workers, and is the author of “Heaven’s Quilt,” a soon-to-be published children’s book. She is also the founder and coordinator of Gusto Angels Network, an organization she created in 1999 that networks individuals and organizations to help aid those in need of physical and spiritual help, through the coordination of “random acts of kindness.” Taylor resides in East Hampton.
