H. Michael Worthen, M.D. Director

Dr. Worthern has been practicing since 1979. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Anesthesia and Pediatrics at the University of California San Diego and an Anesthesiologist and Intensivist at The Children’s Hospital and Health Center San Diego, California. Dr. Worthen is the author of numerous papers and has presented abstracts relating to pediatric critical care issues. He and his wife Patti have two school age children and live in Del Mar, California. Healthy eating has always been a standard practice for the Worthens. Dr. Worthen has become an ardent runner following his many years of Iron Man competitions.
